This Week's Podcast Episode

In this episode of the Music Festivals Podcast, we take a up-close look at a truly one-of-a-kind Midwest music venue. I’m breaking down the Poe Road Music Sanctuary’s 2025 Season Opener in Grand Rapids, Ohio—a one night festival held at a hidden gem set in the middle of the cornfields with a history as unique as its lineup.

Poe Rd. is definitely an Ohio festival venue that should be on your list for this summer and fall.  Join me as I recap the night’s standout performances from bands like The Funk Factory, Ekoostik Hookah, and Top Scrub, and see some of the performances from the weekend along with aerial drone video footage of the venue.

Festival Performance of the Week

Check out this face-melting LIVE performance of "Ecstasy" from ekoostik hookah during their April 2025 show at the Poe Rd. Music & Arts Sanctuary in Grand Rapids, Ohio on 4.26.2025 (Set 1). Amazing Steve Sweeny guitar solo towards the end..

Hookahville 60 will take place 6/5-6/7, 2025 at Newark, Ohio’s Roost on the River, and celebrate all eras of the band, featuring two full sets each night with guest appearances all weekend! Get tickets while they last.

Heyo Neighbors, I'm NeighborN8...

If you're here, we probably met at a festival. Or just maybe you heard about Music Festivals Podcast in the campground from your neighbors.  Maybe you were searching for deals on camping gear and found is that way, who knows?  However you landed on this website, I'm sure glad your here.

We both ❤️ going to music festivals.  The people, the vibes, the music, the campfire jams, the vendors, the food, the party ... all of it.

But planning your experience can be a pain in the ass.  Some venues and producers put out a ton of content and information to help you.  But for whatever reason, most don't.

Music Festivals Podcast helps you get to know music festivals, festival venues and campgrounds before you go.

From knowing where to camp, to performance schedules, to learning your way around tent city, you'll want to subscribe to makes it easier to plan (and revisit) the amazing experience.

I hope to see you in the Neighborhood, and I hope to we get to be camp neighbors at the next festival! 🏕️
